What we were working with
A black E-Class, and no driveway. The car sat in the shared lane in front of a row of townhome garages in Newport Ridge, up in Newport Coast. We do not have a before photo of this one.
Black paint is the hardest color to get right outside: every swirl, streak and water ring shows in the light.
The photos
How we handled it
We worked right there in the lane, with the garage open behind the car. The photos and clips are all from 3:52 to 3:53 pm, and they show the finished car: black paint even from the grille to the trunk lid, glass clear, wheels clean.
If your car is parked in a garage court or a lane like this one, that is not a problem. Tell us where it is when you book.
