What we were working with
A white M8 Gran Coupe with black wheels and red brake calipers, parked at the curb in front of a house in Downey, under olive trees and palms. We do not have a before photo of this one.
White paint shows every line of road film, and black wheels show every bit of brake dust.
The photos
How we handled it
The first clip is from 2:26 pm: the car being rinsed with the pressure washer at the curb, the hose running across the pavement. By 3:40 pm the close-ups show the headlight, the grille, the wheel and the red caliper clean. The last photo, at 3:48 pm, is the finished car. About an hour and twenty minutes from the rinse to the last photo.
"BMW M8 Competition. Luxury performance deserves luxury care."
