This seat came to us stained and gritty. After extraction it looks like the photo: the shampoo goes in, the extractor pulls the dirt and the water back out, and the fabric dries clean. Sand comes out of carpet the same way, which is most of what a Laguna interior needs after summer.

Fine sand works down into the carpet pile and under the seat rails, and every time you get in, your shoes grind it deeper. A regular vacuum lifts the top layer. Our interior detail goes seat track to trunk, and if the carpet still holds sand or a damp towel smell, extraction shampoos it and pulls the water and the grit back out.
